Dolphins – Reception/Derbynfa
Croeso i Ddosbarth Dolfin!
Welcome to the Dolphin Class.
Myself (Miss de Vall) and Mrs Vero are both so excited to welcome you and your children to the Autumn term of 2026. We very much look forward to getting to know your children and having a wonderful year together. Our topic for this term is Mud, Muck and Mixtures – if you would like to talk to your child about this at home and send in any of their ideas or interests in relation to this, we would love to include these in our Planning together tree.
To help the weeks roll by as smoothly as possible here are some details for our every day routines in class.
P.E. and Coed Cadno (Outdoor Learning)
P.E and Coed Cadno will be on a Friday. Please send your child into school dressed in suitable clothing every week that allow for easy movement and comfort for P.E. and wellies and waterproofs (when appropriate) in a labelled bag.
Water bottles and snacks
Please provide your child with a labelled water bottle and a healthy fruit snack in a small labelled bag/box, every day. These will be stored on a trolley so children can access them during morning playtime.
Reading
We will be sending home reading books after half term. Please read to your child at home, as much as possible.
General Information
Please put a change of underwear, t-shirt, trousers/leggings in your child’s bag, in case of any accidents or spillages.
Finally, I want to reiterate a huge warm welcome to you all and to say that our door is always open, should you need us in any way. Here’s to a wonderful year together.
